Whole Foods Market at Manhasset
Contributes to Vincent Smith School Scholarship Fund

The Vincent Smith School is the grateful recipient of the Whole Foods Market Community 5% Days Program last month. The Manhasset location supported the Vincent Smith School Scholarship Fund with a donation of $4,569. This funding will go a long way in assisting students in need of the comprehensive services provided at Vincent Smith School, but who otherwise would be unable to attend due to financial constraints.

Vincent Smith School extends special thanks to Whole Foods Market at Manhasset and Marketing Team Leader Karen Greene for recognizing the extraordinary efforts of the school and its positive impact on the community as a non-profit worthy of participation in its program. The Whole Foods Market Community 5% Days Program is dedicated to aiding non-profit organizations in the surrounding areas of its stores.

The mission of the Vincent Smith School is to provide a small, nurturing and supportive setting for the reluctant learner and learning disabled students in grades 4-12. Vincent Smith School is committed to the belief that it is okay to learn differently. Additionally, if reluctant learners and learning disabled students are provided the necessary educational, emotional and social support, it will enable them to reach their highest potential and become productive members of our global society.
