 Most Vincent Smith School students travel by bus each morning from both urban and suburban areas. It is extremely important to staff members that they arrive at the Port Washington campus safely. Each student, whether they ride the bus or are driven by parents, participated in the annual bus safety program. Students were taught the proper way to exit the bus and to never take for granted that cars will stop for its flashing lights. While hoping to never need to access emergency exits, the students practiced an expeditious escape from the rear door.
