Admissions Process

Vincent Smith School considers for admission students who show promise of academic success and/or in need of related services such as reading, speech, or OT.

Students with behavioral, or disciplinary problems will not be considered for admission.

Three-Step Screening Process

After the initial campus visit, your child will be invited for a tour and meet with the Head of School and the Dean of Students. Next, he/she will be invited to meet with select teachers for a placement evaluation. The final step will include a half or full day student visit to ensure appropriate student placement.

The admissions committee will ask you to provide:

  • Individual Education Plan (IEP) or IESP
  • Psychological and educational testing (neuropsych or psych. ed. report)
  • Other relevant evaluations, records, and reports that might assist us in the admissions process

    Policy of Non-discrimination

Vincent Smith School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin, granting equal rights to all programs and activities of the school.
