As an independent school, Vincent Smith School operates without financial support from local, state, or federal tax revenue. The School relies on tuition income, endowment income, and philanthropic contributions to create an environment in which our mission will take root and flourish in the lives of our students.
Alumni, parents, and friends seek to be involved in the Vincent Smith School through their financial giving, volunteered time, and professional expertise. Each of these avenues of involvement is valued and deeply appreciated.
Use our secure on-line form to submit a gift to the School, or print out the form and mail it to the VSS Development Office.
Numerous opportunities for Alumni involvement exist through planning class reunions, serving as a class representative, encouraging classmates to include VSS in their charitable giving, participating in a committee, or attending School events. These are all wonderful ways to maintain a vital relationship with the School.
Parents are encouraged to complete the Volunteer Form distributed at the start of each school year and to identify areas of interest.
For more information, please contact the Alumni & Development Office by email or by phone at (516) 365-4900.
Want to become more engaged with the alumni and parent community? Become a VSS volunteer! Opportunities include, but are not limited to:
Encourage yearly support of Vincent Smith’s Annual Fund and stay in touch with your classmates by joining the team of agents for your class. This is a perfect volunteer position for alumni and parents who live far from campus but want to stay connected.
Help build the momentum for your upcoming reunion by joining the reunion committee. Encourage support of the class gift, or simply make calls to encourage attendance by your classmates. We always need alumni involvement to make the reunion a wonderful success. If you've got the interest, we'll find the right role for you.
