The Vincent Smith School is pleased to announce that Miss Sabrina Myers of the 6th grade has won Senator Jack Martins’ Thanksgiving Essay Contest. The theme for this holiday contest was, “What are You Most Thankful For?”. Sabrina was very thankful for her family, her daily journey through her life and her education.
There was an awards presentation on November 17, at the Shelter Rock Elementary School in Manhasset. Sabrina is pictured below with Senator Martins receiving her award. Honorable mention went to the rest of the sixth grade and teacher, Mrs. Shapiro. A job well done!!
